A blood sand wraith is a fearsome undead creature that likely originated in a desert region. It is made up of blood-red sand and is capable of taking on a humanoid form, but its true form is that of a swirling vortex of sand. It feeds on the life force of the living, draining them of their vitality and leaving them as withered husks. The blood sand wraith is often associated with dark magic and ancient curses, and is said to be nearly impossible to destroy. Some tales even claim that it is immune to most forms of physical attack and can only be defeated by powerful magical means. Despite its fearsome reputation, the blood sand wraith is often underestimated by those who encounter it, leading to their downfall. Those who survive an encounter with a blood sand wraith are forever changed, haunted by the memory of the creature's terrifying power.

Marius the doomed
As the sun set on the desert, a lone adventurer named Marius made his way across the dunes, his eyes fixed on the distant horizon. He had been searching for the lost city of Ahn-Tarqa for weeks, and he was determined to find it before the hot desert sun took its toll on him.
But as he walked, a strange feeling began to overtake him. The sand beneath his feet seemed to shift and move, and the air around him grew heavy and still. He stopped in his tracks, his hand instinctively reaching for his sword, but it was too late.
A blood-red vortex of sand rose up from the ground, swirling and swirling until it took on a humanoid shape. Marius stared in horror at the blood sand wraith before him, its empty eyes fixed on him as it reached out with long, clawed hands.
Marius tried to run, but the sand beneath his feet seemed to come alive, pulling him down into its depths. He struggled and thrashed, but the blood sand wraith was too strong, its claws sinking deep into his flesh as it began to drain the life from him.
In the end, Marius was left a withered husk, his body swallowed up by the sand as the blood sand wraith disappeared into the night. It was said that his ghost still haunts the desert, a warning to all who would dare to challenge the power of the blood sand wraith.
