Many tubes and valve, like those of a coffee machine

The dimly lit alchemist laboratory was a twisted maze of bubbling cauldrons, mysterious herbs, and sinister instruments. The walls were lined with shelves filled with strange ingredients, each labeled with ominous symbols and warnings. In the center of the room stood a massive stone table, upon which rested a set of gleaming copper stills. These stills were the key to the alchemist's dark work, for they were used to distill the very essence of evil from the souls of the damned.
As the alchemist worked, a sickly purple glow filled the room, emanating from the stills as they boiled and steamed. The evil essence of the damned was condensed into a thick, black ichor that flowed like tar from the spigots of the stills. The alchemist carefully bottled the ichor into small glass vials, each one sealed with a cork stopper and a wax seal.
With a twisted smile, the alchemist carefully labeled each vial with the name of its intended victim. These potions of evil would be used to corrupt and control the minds of the unsuspecting, granting the alchemist immense power and control. But little did they know, the true price of their power would be their own souls, consumed by the very evil they sought to harness.
The NPC alchemist's name was Dr. Viktor Blackwood, a man who was once a brilliant scientist, but his obsession with forbidden knowledge and power led him down a dark path. He began experimenting on the human mind, trying to extract and harness the power of evil. Eventually, his work became too dangerous and he was expelled from the scientific community.
Determined to continue his research, Blackwood built a secret alchemist laboratory deep in the heart of a dense, dark forest. He began abducting people, using them as test subjects in his twisted experiments. He was able to distill the evil from their souls and create powerful potions that he used to control the minds of the wealthy and powerful.
However, as time went on, Blackwood's own mind became twisted and corrupted by the very evil he was trying to harness. He became paranoid and reclusive, rarely leaving his laboratory and surrounded himself with dark magic and powerful curses to protect himself from those who would try to stop him.
Despite his descent into madness, Blackwood's reputation as a powerful alchemist and sorcerer had spread far and wide, drawing the attention of both the desperate and the ambitious. They seek his knowledge and power, but few who entered his laboratory ever returned.
Viktor Blackwood's homunculus servant was a small, humanoid creature that he had created in his laboratory using alchemical techniques. It was about the size of a small doll, with a body made of a dark, oily substance that seemed to writhe and shift as if it were alive. Its eyes were glowing orbs of purple fire, and its mouth was a gaping maw filled with needle-sharp teeth. The homunculus was animated by a small piece of Blackwood's own soul, imbuing it with a twisted, malevolent intelligence.
The homunculus was fiercely loyal to Blackwood and would obey his every command without question. It was his constant companion and helper in the laboratory, assisting him with his experiments and even fetching ingredients for him. Its small size and nimble fingers made it perfect for handling delicate instruments and handling dangerous chemicals.
It also acted as a guard and a spy, watching over the laboratory and reporting any intruders to Blackwood. Its stealthy and quick movements allow it to move around undetected and if necessary it could attack with a ferocious ferocity, using its needle-sharp teeth and claws to defend its master.
Blackwood treated the homunculus with a mixture of affection and disdain, often referring to it as "my little creation" or "my familiar". It was both a tool and a reminder of the terrible power he wielded and the cost it came with.
