
After celebrating from your last adventure together. You all grew a tab a few yards in length at your favorite tavern, and unknowingly were broke before you knew what happened.
Anyways as good adventurers you told the bar keep you would be back with riches enough to pay twice your tab, so they should make preparations for another week of celebrations.
Looking for work, there wasn’t much going on, until you were approached by a cloaked figure who offered you 100 gold each to defeat a mad mage named Orvald. You accepted the hooded figure’s proposal and went to hunt down the Orvald, and recover a magical codex he had stolen.

Dragon Skeleton is crashed into the floor, one 💎Emerald is still in the eye socket (1 heart to remove safely), the other 💎emerald has come loose and is in the rubble (hard wisdom check)

A flameskull, Orvald’s assistant Rubes is now here. Was killed by the party when going up the tower. He is confused, pondering his burning corpse. But will recognize the party and scream next turn try to flame strike them next round.
Floor 1

An avenger (angel) Usiel, guardian of secrets, is here to make sure Orvald’s research is destroyed. Is currently facing the doors casting a protection spell.
Unfortunately the characters already know too much, and can’t be let go.
