In the center of a large cavern there is a huge a brain-like structure with spikes and tentacle limbs made of some mushroom like fibers that are rooted into the ground and walls.
 
There is also two tentacles holding what seem to be two enormous lances with lightning motifs that look like it they might be propping up the cavern (not really it’s just for show and anyone familiar with caves such as a dwarf would know).
 
The brain is an artificial organic mecha ship of the grell that crash landed and moved into this cavern.
 
The cavern itself extends back for about a mile, constantly being rather wide and tall until it connects with a sink hole that leads out to the forest. That is how the ship came here.
 
The hole is considered dangerous and haunted by the locals so no one, or almost no ones knows the hole leads here.
 
The grell colony has been stranded here for around 50 years. The electrician alchemist of
The Alchemist Lab
is one of the few people who treated/traded with the colony.
 
The colony hates the Neogi. Who also crash landed here in a naval fight with the grell.
 
They don’t want to engage anymore and stay away from each other, however the Neogi do send slaves to fight the grell and cause chaos once in a while.
 
The grell have electricity and alchemical chemicals and potions. They also have brain jars of locals they use as a sort of library and source of local knowledge.
 
They offer people that venture in here to serve them as brain jars, saying they will be nearly immortal.
 
The alchemist took them up on the offer and is part of their brain har hive, computer.
 
The grell do not have names, they recognize themselves by patterns instead. They do not need “handles”.
